Thanks to the generosity of the City of Treasure Island’s City Administration, we have relocated our “Treasures” into a dedicated space within City Hall, which will include an area for cataloging and storing all our memorabilia.
The Treasure Island Historical Society is also collaborating with The City to display a project of art and history in City Hall. As part of this initiative, we have completed four customized historical full wall coverings depicting Treasure Island images.
Our Facebook page includes several digital albums and chronological images from the 1930s to the present day. We continue to expand the collection and improve accessibility.
After completing 48 interviews with residents who lived, worked, and played here on TI, we stored the recordings and have made them accessible online for the community.
We look forward to advancing these projects to preserve our local history and ultimately displaying our memorabilia for the community to enjoy.
If you have any memorabilia you would like to donate, please let us know. Your donation will ensure future generations will have the opportunity to discover, preserve, and celebrate the rich history and heritage of Treasure Island.
